We had our baby girl Wednesday!
7lbs, 9 oz, 20 inches. It was a fairly easily & fast delivery. I was only in the hospital 45 minutes before delivering, and when I arrived at the hospital the contractions weren’t very bad yet. And thank God for a doctor’s appointment that morning, or I wouldn’t have realized I was in labor until it was too late for my husband to make it from work.
I’m home now. The body is recovering, and I’m trying hard not to care about the dishes. Our amazing friends and family are bringing yummy meals. My husband is incredibly helpful, and it helps that he’s a night-person when I’m not. The hardest part is adjusting our two year old to the changes. He’s really moody, but at least he likes her.
As far as Clever Nesting goes, I’ll be writing posts less frequently over the next two months. But the wonderful news is that we have two guest bloggers working with us for April, and I’ll introduce them next week. I’m so excited about the new ideas and information they’re bringing to the site…cooking, gardening, and crochet, to name a few. And, if anyone else is interested in guest blogging with us, we’re looking for 2-3 more people for May and throughout the summer. Let me know: Colleen@CleverNesting.com.

Congrats. What a beautiful baby and what a lovely way to “have” a baby.
yay! Happy baby days to you!
Congratulations on the new addition to your family!
Congratulations!!!
I’m impressed that you posted a tutorial and then had her soon after. I’m so glad the labor was relatively easy!
She is just beautiful, Colleen. She’s the best thing you’ve made since we started Clever Nesting.
I’m so happy for you Colleen. She’s beautiful and she looks so healthy. Best to you and your family.
