Would they work as birdfeeders? I use some net bags to hold either sunflower seeds or if they are really small openings, thistle seed. They wear out in one winter season, but it's nice to increase the amount of birds I feed. Could one netting bag be sewed into a tube and hung with a strap?

Good ideas. The produce bags would be really cool. I already get weird looks from my t-shirt bags. :)

And I need new scrubbies... You are all very helpful!

I keep my onion bags, similar type of netting, and then knit them into "scrubbies" for the sink instead of buying the brillo pads. Could this work for that as well?

My mom used to take the red netting from onion bags and fold them into about 6 layers. Then, we would sew them together and use as scrubbies for the kitchen sink.
