I am really excited to host this give away contest from Jennifer at Landen Road Designs, our sponsor for the past week. I’m exicted for two reasons. First of all, I am using this as an excuse to take the week off from writing tutorials. But most of all, who doesn’t love buttons? Unique button collections are kind of like the hallmark of a head-over-heels-crafter. I know that I’m addicted to them, I have 8 mason jars full, sorted by color. I plan to add some of Jenn’s to the collection soon.
Jenn handmade these two inch ceramic buttons from white clay. She stamped and glazed them before kiln firing them. Each button set is one of a kind, and would be awesome to use on accessories, clothing, and as jewelry.
In order to enter the give-away contest just leave a comment to this post. It would be great if you gave us some ideas for how you’d use the buttons if you won them. The comments will close at 11:30pm on friday, October 9th. We’ll let the Random Number Generator choose our winner. Good Luck!

I LOVE these buttons! They are the exact colors that I am using in my wedding. My bouquet is going to be white roses and baby’s breath with the steams wrapped in ribbon. These buttons would be an excellent accent for the wrapped stems!
These are so adorable! If I am chosen to be the lucky winner I plan on using them on a periwinkle knit cardigan for my niece Olivia.
ooh, buttons of any kind are wonderful! I have a sweater/shawl that I am knitting for my MIL and need some big artistic and different buttons.
Wow these are so lovely – and my fav color green too! These would be darling on a sundress for my niece.
these buttons are so pretty! i’m not sure what i would use them for but it would definitely have to be very special!
Beautiful!! I want to make a little shrug for my daughter to wear over her leotards at dance class! Those would be perfect on that!!
I would use these to adorn a sweater for my daughter if I were the lucky winner.
They’re almost too nice to put on a garment.
OH, beautiful Jen….I ran back and searched through my stash. I found a great fabric for a knitting bag, these buttons would be perfect for the flaps in the front. Love your work!
Thanks Devona
beautiful!! i love the colors! i made an experimental wallet out of fabric scraps. i plan on redoing it with some improvemnts and these would be darling on it! they’d be cute on a scrapbook page too!
These are great! I can think of so many great uses for them…an accent on a knitted hat, a fastener on a bag, or as accents or functional buttons on a dress for my little girl. The hard part would be deciding what to use the amazing buttons for, and finding the time to do it!
I’m thinking jewelry. Love ‘em!
They are lovely. They make me think of that edge of time between spring and summer. Clear blue skies and tall green grass.
