Boy I hope this doesn’t become a regular feature. But it’s all I’ve got for today. I’m planning on attending a couple of craft fairs in November and I need a dress form for my display. There wasn’t much going on here this afternoon so I asked my five year old if she wanted to make me a tape mummy. Of course she said yes. And of course, she wasn’t at all helpful.

What ended up happening is that I got my torso wrapped nice and snug and then my kids all needed something. I could hardly breathe in the tape so I helped my kids and decided I should try to finish wrapping it in duct tape after I cut it from my body. I cut down the middle of the front, cut a hole in my shirt, and then realized I’d taped my shirt to the form in the back. When I finally got it off my body all I had to show is this blue crumpled mess. As I’d say on Twitter:  #Fail.
