There are less than three weeks until my due date. In my final stretches I have been nesting and nesting. Tomorrow I have planned to make a grocery shopping trip which will include the ingredients from 18 freezer meals. It’s insanity, truly.
The other outlet for my nesting urges is working on my cloth diaper stash. After cloth diapering 2 previous kids I’ve gotten a feel for what I like and so I didn’t waste any time experimenting. I scoured the diaper jungle website for tips, and traced a small diaper to use with a Snappi, made some modifications and started cutting up my 100% cotton thermal fabric and fleece. I just spent the last three weeks sewing 18 fitted thermal diapers with a fleece liner to keep Baby B’s bottom drier. My elastic score was helpful in acheiving this task. Now I just need to birth the baby so I can put the diapers on someone who fits in them better than this stuffed Lion.

Haha! They look cute on the lion though!!
Thanks. While trying to find a “model” for the diapers I discovered we have many stuffed animals, and not one of them is the size of a newborn baby!
This sounds all too familiar. I have 3 under 5 the youngest is a 3 month old baby – (born in May) – I hastily sewed a few (what I thought was going to be newborn diapers), but turned out to be a few LOVELY diapers for the dolls! Good luck!
