This is a be-lated birthday present, so I hope I don’t spoil the surprise. I made this fascinator for my Sister-in-Law, Sarah, who is very uniquely fashionable. I have been wanting one for myself for a while and those sorts of things always make the best gifts, right?

To make it I used some secondhand dark teal felted wool and fused it to some white craft wool for stability. There are three bobby pins in the back to attach it to your hair. Then I decorated the piece with craft jewels and feathers I picked up at the local craft store with a coupon. To secure them to the wool I used Fabri-tac glue and they are quite secure.

Unfortuantely, it is not easy to get a picture of the side of your own head, so this is the best I can do for modeling it. Maybe after I’ve given it to Sarah I’ll post a better picture.
