Using the method for making a journal that I taught in my class last month I made this version for my husband as a gift. There were some slight variations in binding the cover to the signature, since I harvested the cover from an outdated Flash manual and the cover pages wouldn’t wrap around completely. But Fabri-Tac and some black bias tape came in handy and the book is probably one of my favorite ones to date.

I love it when you have finally learned a technique so intuitively that you can make any variation on it quickly and confidently. That is a good feeling. I’ve gotten to that point with these journals.
