First Creative Supplies Swap

The Swap was a blast! We had 12 adults plus many kids. Everyone was really friendly, and it was great meeting more local creative people. We had a fun time digging for useful items, and everyone was very generous with what they brought to the event. All the leftovers were donated to the library in Highland Square.
For the handmade gift exchange three people brought items. Devona received this purse from Martha. Martha received my bracelet. I received Devona’s apron.

We’ll have our next swap in February. So plan ahead for items to swap and an item for the handmade gift exchange as well. Looking forward to doing this again!

Thanks so much to Colleen and Devona for seeing and supporting the sense of community @ND, and for sharing their ideas and expertise with everyone.
‘Reduce, reuse, and recycle’- I truly appreciate the way these two ‘work-from-homers’ have found a means to overlap this philosophy with such a sense of creativity, and hope this is merely the launch of an ongoing collaborative effort…
Well done, and kudos to Clever Nesting for making this happen!
Thank you, Michael. Your space was really inviting and the staff was welcoming to us. We had great drinks and snacks, and the kids I brought were tolerated and comfortable, too! I can’t wait to come back for my class in two weeks.
