I really like this metal number collage found in Vogue Living Before & After 2009.

I want to make a collage like this for my husband.  He wants the numbers from the show Lost!  Does anyone know where to get metal numbers like this?  I thought of using old highway signs or business address signs.  Are there scrap yards for stuff like this?

By the way, did you see the quilt in this photo?  It’s just scrap fabrics sewn together in no particular pattern.
