Journal Give-Away
Devona | July 17, 2009 | 7:00 am
I have been practicing my book binding skillz for a few months now and have finally come up with a method that I really like. To celebrate I am giving away a small journal to a random reader. To enter just leave a comment to this post (be sure you have a valid email account) and let us know what you’ll be using the journal for if you win it. Comments to this post will be open until 11 pm Tuesday, July 21st. The winner will be randomly selected and the results posted on Wednesday.
The journal is made from recycled materials, excluding the drawing paper pages, which are new. Made with wall paper samples, upholstery samples and cereal box card stock, this is a one of a kind piece of work.

Oh man, I so want one!
I really like this small journal! Morgan (my 7 year old) and I have journals that we right letter back and forth to each other, and this would be a great one to share!
These look really lovely! I would love to learn more about how you’re making them.
Lovely! I’ve been stepping towards more time in reflection and prayer, and would use this journal as an aid in that.
I will use it to chronicle the start of my new life in The Netherlands!
This journal is beautiful! And can I say that your pictures are inspirational!
This is gorgeous. I hope I win. What would I use it for? Probably as an art journal to paint in.
What beautiful work you do! I’ve just stumbled across your site in the last few minutes, and I’m so glad I did. Crafting and responsible consumption are both important to me, and I’m always in search of ways to combine the two interests. I could use a journal like this to write down my craft/reuse ideas, preserve my little one’s first attempts at making her own recipes, keep track of plot bunnies … the possibilities are endless.
I will use it for journaling and praying…. which I do each morning. I fill up journals fast! Love your use of recycled material! I try to do that when I can, but I have not yet journeyed into book binding.
So pretty! I’d give it as a gift to my mother for her birthday. She loves journals…
I’ll be using it for Bible reading notes.
I would love to win this. I would gift it to my mother in law who is always writing in journals her life story. Thx
