Gift Card Magnets

I wanted to make magnets from Scrabble pieces with this Scrabble Tile Pendant Tutorial, but I couldn’t part with my Scrabble game! So instead I used old plastic gift cards. I already have a 1″ square punch, so I decided to make the magnets this size. I used scissors to cut the gift cards & the punch to cut the scrap paper, then followed the tutorial’s instructions for the rest (except for gluing on a magnet instead of a jewelry bail.)

This is such a clever idea! I have a bunch of magnets lying around that I’ve been wondering what to do with, and know I know!! What a great way to use leftovers and turn them into something beautiful for everyone in the house to enjoy. Thanks!!
