When I’m working with design online I almost always consult Kuler, from Abobe. I am not trained artistically, and I need the help of seeing colors side by side to be sure that I am making the right choice. Sometimes I start with one color and just hope that someone else has a palette that will work saved so I can use it. 

Well I was in luck because char_anderson, an artist we follow on Twitter tweeted about this review of the 10 best online color tools from downloadsquad.com. The Color Palette Generator has the simple, but useful feature of uploading a photo and receiving a palette from the colors in the photo. And the ColorJack site has color libraries saved, even Crayola’s!
