Women’s Blouse from a Men’s Shirt

I gave this tutorial from jezze, which I found via whip up, a try on Saturday night. It was a very clear tutorial, with simple instructions for the pattern-phobic to follow.
My final result was not quite right, since I was trying to accomodate a pregnant belly, and I chose a shirt which did not have the shirt-tail style hem. But, I could tell that if I made a few simple changes, such as allowing more room in the back for the fabric to spread (for my bump) and making the scoop neck a little deeper it would turn out spectacular. I have a nice store of second hand and husband-swiped shirts in my stash and will probably be giving this another go on Wednesday.

very sweet , always love a lower neckline(and bumps)
Great job! It looks really good.
yes, very flattering.
