My friend Ellie has also just recovered a chair, which looks wonderful so I wanted to share it. I used a slip cover, but Ellie actually reupholsetered the chair with fabric and staples. She said that it was harder than she expected to pull the fabric tight enough and get the staples in.

I have a chair up in my bedroom that needs recovering as well. Hopefully that project will be showing up here soon enough!
