I've been thinking about doing our back living room - the wood paneled one with a very light powder blue. and brown trim just like this trim. I may opt for a cream color though. We already have lots of colors going on in the house.

I think it would look cool in your dining room. However, I highly recommend Glidden ICI paints. There are some independant stores and it is also sold at home depot. I'm very happy with it, and they employ my FIL, so it's sortof a local business for you.

My husband doesn't like the orange kitchen. But everyone one else does. :) When I told him that I wanted to paint the dining room he said, "You do whatever you want. You're the queen of the house." TeeHee. I won't do anything ugly, but I won't shy away from the bold either.

Ha! This sounds like a post out of my life (esp.. the last line.)I think I would take it down a shade bec. remember it's always darker when it goes up. I love the blue with the orange next door. I think it is incredibly happy and your husband will most likely love it when it's done but not get the process (i guess i'm projected my S.O. onto yours.) i wouldn't make it more powdery, though - it sounds like you wouldn't really be true to yourself.
