I may opt for a cream color though. We already have lots of colors going on in the house. I think it would look cool in your dining room. However, I highly recommend Glidden ICI paints. There are some independant stores and it is also sold at home depot. I'm very happy with it, and they employ my FIL, so it's sortof a local business for you. This sounds like a post out of my life (esp.. the last line.)I think I would take it down a shade bec. remember it's always darker when it goes up. I love the blue with the orange next door. I think it is incredibly happy and your husband will most likely love it when it's done but not get the process (i guess i'm projected my S.O. onto yours.) i wouldn't make it more powdery, though - it sounds like you wouldn't really be true to yourself.
