I found this great tutorial for starting seedlings on Build/Make/Craft/Bake via Curbly. It’s resourceful and composting in one. Now if only someone would recommend a recipe to use a dozen eggs!
My grandmother was a great recycler and wonderful at growing houseplants. She always put crushed egg shells and used coffee grounds in the soil around her indoor plants. I think this added to the quality of the soil. She was born in 1911, the youngest of 8 children, lived through the depression, and repurposed just about everything!
